About
- Dr. Lisa BartolottoDr. Lisa Bartolotto was born in Michigan and later moved to Kentucky where she met her wonderful husband and attended the University of Kentucky for her pre-vet studies in 1982. She was accepted to Auburn University Veterinary School in 1985 with early admission. She graduated in 1989 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She did her preceptorship at Hillsboro Animal Hospital in Nashville before coming to work at Murfreesboro Animal Clinic in June of 1989. She enjoyed serving the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association as an Executive board member from 2000-2002. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and helping both pets and their caretakers cultivate their human-animal bond. She has a special interest in surgery and geriatric medicine.
She and her husband, Al have been married for over 30 years. They have a farm in Lascassas and raise black Angus cattle. They also have 2 horses, 7 dogs, 2 cats and 2 rabbits. Their English mastiff, Delilah and their yellow lab, Vanilla along with their rabbits enjoy being the center of attention at many of the local schools for presentations on veterinary medicine and animal care.
She enjoys the outdoors, hiking and biking with the family as well as quilting. They have 4 children, Michelina, Caleb, Jaylyn, and Joshua and one granddaughter, Marina. They attend church at Lascassas Baptist Church where Dr. Bartolotto enjoyed teaching 3rd and 4th grade Sunday school for 10 years. She has many pre-vet students who have worked for her over the years and enjoys teaching them about the profession.

- Dr. RicheyDr. Richey is a 2015 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and native to Middle Tennessee. She moved back to Murfreesboro with her husband, Justin, cat, Kitkat, and dog, Oliver, to begin work with MAC in June 2015. Since then, she and Justin have had three children. Dr. Richey joined the Murfreesboro team as a business partner in June of 2019. Dr. Richey has a special interest in small animal dentistry, internal and integrative medicine. She achieved advanced training in small animal dentistry through elective courses at the University of Tennessee and the University of Illinois. She took multiple externships that specialized in dentistry or had advanced dentistry capabilities. She is the 2015 recipient of the Albert S. Dorn award for Excellence in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
- Dr. Richey believes in an integrative approach to medicine, utilizing both Western and Eastern techniques to heal and treat pets. She received special training in small and large animal acupuncture through selective rotations and externships. She uses her limited training in acupuncture and to treat geriatric arthritis, pain from IVDD, and various muscle injuries. She also promotes laser therapy which has been proven to shorten healing time on wounds, injuries, surgical sites, and alleviate pain.

- Dylan Love
- Dylan joined our team in January of 2023 while attending Middle Tennessee State University. He has since then graduated in August of 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. In October of 2023, he took on the position of acting Practice Manager. Since then, Dylan planted his roots in Lascassas, TN, with his wife, Michelina, and their daughter Marina on their farm, and has a passion for animals and agriculture after being raised on a beef cattle farm. Dylan helps his wife, Michelina, run her animal-assisted therapy nonprofit, Mini Creek Farms, which is located on their farm in Lascassas.

- Michelina Love
- Michelina received her bachelor's in Animal Science and a minor in Biology from MTSU in 2017. She has worked at Murfreesboro Animal Clinic for 12 years. Michelina is our lead technician and received her licensure in March of 2025. Michelina takes pride in client communication and helping clients advocate for their pet while providing the highest level of care. She is also a licensed Animal Assisted Therapist who owns and manages Mini Creek Farms (an animal-assisted therapy program in Lascassas, TN) with her husband, Dylan Love. Michelina lives on a farm with her husband, daughter, and 24 pets and counting. Michelina plans to continue working at Murfreesboro Animal Clinic while sharing the love of animals and spreading healing, hope, and love to kids and adults whom she works with in her animal-assisted therapy program.

- Shannan
- Shannan is originally from Texas she relocated to Murfreesboro 5 years ago. She has been with Murfreesboro animal clinic for over a year as a receptionist. She has 2 fur babies Saidy a Australian shepard mix and Garfield a domestic medium hair cat.

- Bailey Cofer
- Bailey is from Southeast Tennessee. She is attending MTSU as a Pre-Vet major and plans to continue her education in veterinary medicine after graduation. Previously working at an animal shelter, she loves animal rehabilitation and engaging with her community. She also enjoys playing with her kitties, Toast and Snuffles, along with her dog Maggie Mae!

- Rachel Moss
- Rachel is originally from Franklin, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor's in Animal Science from MTSU in Spring 2024. She has been with Murfreesboro Animal Clinic for almost 2 years now. She plans to continue working with animals in pursuit of helping pet owners become more educated and improve the overall care for their pets. She has two cats, both domestic short-haired, Butter and Milk. She enjoys photography and spending time with friends and family.

- Ethan Lukawitz
- Ethan is a junior at MTSU pursuing a Bachelor's in Animal Science and Biology. Driven by a long-standing passion for animal care, he is gaining hands-on experience in small animal medicine while preparing for future veterinary school applications. When not at the clinic or in class, he enjoys reading and spending time with his dogs Maddie and Comet Destroyer.

- Ava Womble
- Ava will be graduating from MTSU in the spring with a Bachelor's in Animal Science and General Science. MAC is helping her gain knowledge and skills, preparing her for a future in Veterinary Medicine. She is also a proud cat mom to her orange tabby, Little Man.

- Ann Nash
- Ann moved to Tennessee from Florida in 2024. She had previously spent 11 years working in a shelter before joining the MAC team as a receptionist. She is enjoying the clinic setting and will be one of the first people to greet you at the door!

- Isabella Orozco
- Bella is a beautifully artistic person who loves animal rehabilitation and fostering bottle baby kittens. Bella has been working at Murfreesboro Animal Clinic for 1 year. Bella enjoys hiking and spending time with her 4 wonderful kitties. Bella has a promising future in reaching her goals of becoming a licensed veterinary technician.
